Looks can be deceiving
The outside of Lake City Motor Inn is well kept and clean. The rooms however are another story. I was there several years ago and it was a very nice place to stay. Clean and affordable. Things have changed. On my last visit the room had more stains than I care to mention and even the light switches were dirty. The room smelled like years of stale smoke. I was horrified that I had suggested the motel. We requested a refund and found another place to stay. The one thing I can say hasn't changed is the affordability, but cheap comes at a price.
